VINTAGE FOR ALL

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Manhattan Vintage Show. We are honored to receive hundreds of applications and inquiries from dealers across the country and around the world and we aim to be transparent about the dealer selection process. 

Our selection criteria:

CONSCIOUS CURATION: 

  • We feature 25-30% new dealers at each show, rotating dealers to keep the show fresh and diverse.

  • We strive to showcase the widest range of vintage styles. We include collections representing every era, price point, taste, and perspective. 

  • Dealers can share a space, upon approval. If you choose this route, list both dealers’ names on your application. Please note, shared spaces are only available for a 1.5 space size.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Cohesive curation and a collection that features a strong point of view.

  • Active, thoughtful social media presence. 

  • Sense of merchandising acumen and a thoughtful approach to visual merchandising. 

  • Commitment to show promotion.

  • Reputation for professionalism. 

TIMELINE:

  • The Manhattan Vintage Show has 4 shows each year - one for each season - Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall. 

  • In July,  we send invitations to returning dealers and new dealers, encouraging them to apply and participate in the upcoming show season.  

  • We make decisions in June and send invites in July. 

  • We always hold a few spaces for new dealer applicants for each show  who have applied on a rolling basis.

  • We add every applicant to our list of future show notices—including dates and deadlines—and community announcements. 

Did we mention the importance of social media? If you have a special collection or items that you intend to debut at a show that are not reflected in your social media feed/s or on your website, we STRONGLY encourage you to follow-up with an email to events@manhattanvintage.com with images and a more detailed description.
